Men's Breakfast
All men are invited to join us for breakfast from 8:00–10:00 AM at Praise. Come enjoy good food, meaningful conversation, and a great time of fellowship. Bring a friend—all are welcome!
Potluck
Sweet Treats & Slow Cooker Potluck will be a cozy winter gathering featuring hearty slow cooker main dishes such as chili, soups, stews, and more paired with a table full of favorite desserts and sweet treats. All are welcome to join us for food and fellowship Wednesday, February 11th at 6 pm.
Women’s Ministry Brunch
All women are invited to a Women’s Ministry Card Making & Potluck on Saturday, February 14 at 10:00 am. Join us for a morning of fellowship and creativity as we make handmade cards together, followed by a potluck meal. Please bring a dish to share and enjoy a relaxed time of connection and encouragement.

Family Activity Day
Family Activity Day – Sunday, February 22nd!
Join us after the service for a fun-filled Family Activity Day! We’ll be serving hot dogs and a couple of side dishes, and we’re asking the congregation to bring a dessert to share.
Depending on the weather, kids will either be outside playing in the snow or enjoying bounce houses and games indoors. No matter what, it’s going to be a great time of food, fellowship, and fun for all ages. We hope to see you there!

Women’s Evening Bible Study
Psalms: A 12-Week Study begins Monday, January 12, 2026, with sessions offered at 12:30 PM or 6:30 PM. This study will explore how the book of Psalms speaks to the full range of human emotions and draws our hearts toward worship. The study book is $5. For more information, contact Claudia
ACTS Hymn Sing
A Hymn Sing will be held on January 11th at Valerie Manor (now Haven Care) in Torrington at 12:00 PM. Join us as we lift our voices in traditional hymns to share God’s love with the residents during a quieter time of year. If you’re interested in participating, please sign up at the OCC Table or see the ACTS Team with any questions.
Women's Brunch
Women’s Brunch will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. All refreshments will be provided by the Women’s Ministry—just bring yourself and feel free to invite a friend. We’ll also be discussing upcoming 2026 women’s events and would love your input.
Christmas Eve Service
Celebrate the joy and wonder of Christmas with us! Our Christmas Eve Service will take place December 24th, at 5:00 PM. Together, we’ll reflect on the hope and love brought to us through the birth of Christ, with carols, Scripture readings, and a meaningful message.
This family-friendly service is the perfect way to embrace the true spirit of the season. Invite your loved ones and join us as we come together to worship and share the light of Christmas. We look forward to welcoming you!

Praise Church Christmas Party
Following the Children’s Christmas Pageant and our regular service, everyone is invited to stay for a festive Christmas Party! We’ll have food, crafts, and bounce houses—a joyful celebration for kids, families, and our whole church community.

Children's Christmas Play
Join us on Sunday, December 14th at 9:00 AM for Praise’s Christmas Pageant! Come celebrate the story of Christ’s birth as the children of Praise share their love for the Lord by lifting their voices and talents to bring joy and smiles to all. It’s a joyful morning you won’t want to miss!
Christmas Cookie Baking
Calling all bakers! Join us on Saturday, December 13th at 9:00 AM to bake for the Children’s Christmas Party. Please bring two batches of prepared dough—one for the party and one to share. We’ll roll, cut, bake, and decorate together, and everyone will take home an assortment of cookies. Don’t forget a container for your take-home treats!
Christmas Potluck
Join us for our Christmas Potluck as we celebrate the season with a festive meal together! Everyone is invited to bring a holiday-themed dish—your favorite Christmas casserole, a cozy winter soup, a festive salad, or a classic Christmas dessert.
It’s a wonderful evening of food, fellowship, and the spirit of the season. All are welcome!

Ladies, join us at Praise: Wear something festive. Bring your favorite tea to share. Bring a fun dish or dessert.
And if you’d like to participate in an ornament exchange, bring an ornament wrapped up fancy.

Women’s Ministry Paint + Praise
Join us on Saturday, November 15th from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Praise for a special morning of devotional, painting, and music led by Kellyn Trapp, with music by Bobby Trapp.
Enjoy light refreshments and fellowship while creating a beautiful painting in a worshipful environment.

The annual Barbarian Games are back at Praise! All men—high school age and up—are invited to an afternoon packed with friendly competition, great food, and plenty of laughs. Test your skills (and maybe your bragging rights) with horseshoes, bocce, corn hole, Kan Jam, Kubb, and more.
