Elder Announcement of Pastor Evan's Acceptance

Dear Praise Family,

During this season of uncertainty and social distancing, we crave intimate connection and appreciate good news all the more in these unusual times. It is, therefore, after much anticipation and with great joy that we announce Pastor Evan's acceptance of our unanimous call to be our Senior Pastor at Praise Christian Fellowship.

Pastor Evan and his family are excited "for what God will do, knowing that He is leading it all." He further states, "I am grateful for your confidence in me for this ministry, and for your pledge of support as we begin in this ministry together. Please continue to lift me (and my family) up in prayer as we begin this ministry and as we walk faithfully in it; I know that I will need His wisdom and guidance to fulfill this role!"

Before Pastor Evan begins this new and exciting chapter in the history of Praise, he and his family will be taking a much-needed rest which has been long-planned even before we approached him about being our Pastor. Additionally, our dear sister church and partner in the Gospel, Bethany, will need an opportunity to properly say "goodbye" to Pastor Evan and his family. Over the past twelve years, the Langlois family has become a beloved and integral part of Bethany's family. Allowing the appropriate time for their own closure and transition will provide for their success and enable Pastor Evan to finish well. With these important considerations in mind, and due to the current COVID-19 challenges, we are looking at the tentative start date of August 1st of this year.

In closing, our hopes are high with expectancy, knowing God has great plans for us, both now and in the future. Pastor Evan remarked, "I am looking forward to this ministry as God leads and guides for His Glory and for the benefit of His Kingdom, which shall have no end!"

Gratefully yours,
The Elders of Praise
